Matoaka earned over $3200.00 last school year through Box Tops for Education. The money earned was used to purchase SOL Assemblies for Grades 3-5, the Virginia Living Museum field trip for 1st grade, and colored team vests for PE. See? Your contributions really do make a difference!
How does it work? Simple. By clipping Box Tops coupons or shopping online from hundreds of participating products, you can earn cash for your school.
Don’t forget to ask grandparents, neighbors or friends to clip their Box Tops too!

Class prizes will be awarded!
The class that submits the most box tops at each quarterly submission date through the year will be presented with the official Matoaka Box Top Winner Trophy.
The winning classroom will display the trophy in their class room until the next deadline.
Collection Deadlines:
- November 12, 2014
- February 11, 2015
- June 1, 2015
Please make sure you include your Teacher’s name on the Box Tops that your child submits. Remember, Box Tops do expire so please send them in before the expiration date!
2014-2015 School Year Prizes
- Prizes for 5th graders – for every 50 Box Tops that a 5th grader submits they will receive a raffle entry for a Hornsby T-shirt or Sweatshirt.
- Classroom Prizes – Top class in each grade (K-4) will be awarded Gogurt Treats.
- Top Class for the School Year – will receive the Box Tops trophy for display in their classroom. Top class for the Year will be awarded a Pizza Party!
To make sure you receive credit for your Box Tops, be sure to place them in a plastic, ziploc bag marked with the student’s name and the teacher’s name.
